Easter at Dad's

Doug and Scott working on the cat, they got it running and Doug was pushing some tress and the tread things came off. So, now I wonder how long it will sit at the top of the hill to get fixed.

Well, we will be up on Father's day, so we'll see if it is still there.

Kim was definately the best shot. I think she hit 4 out of 5 times the can on the tree and in the water.

We were watching Kimberly, Kim, and Dillan shoot the gun and they were reloading when we heard a loud bang, we look over and dad had gotten in his Suburban and shot his gun in the water the hit the can, he wanted to get one up on us and boy did it ever. The bullet made a very loud noise as the it hit the can straight on. Of course, he was laughing as he secretly did this. I have to admit it was pretty funny and ingenuis on his part. He is always thinking of ways to make us laugh.

I made up little Easter bags for all the "kids". Alden and Darin hid them back behind the pond. Of course I had to have Derek and Kim find there's. This was Alden's idea when he got home from church this morning and told me what he wanted to do. He wanted me to go to Dollar General and pick up some candy and baskets. Well, Dollar General was not open so I had to go to Casey's and then just put them in a zip-lock bag and tie some ribbon on them. I had asked Morgan earlier is she wanted to find some easter bags and she said only if it had candy in it. Kim C. brought some hard boiled eggs and said we could put some of those in them also, I think they liked the candy idea better.

Kim found a little salamander and was playing with it. She saw a lady on Jay Leno do tricks with one and she was seeing if she could have it do the same thing, well, it kept her entertained for an hour or so.

Dad was so glad we all came up. He had called me last night and said, "are you sure you want to come" up cause it was suppose to be so cold. He called again this morning and asked the same question. It was another memorable day at "Dad's Farm by the Verdigre Alps."

Fishing along the bank of the pond. It was in the upper 30's today; but, sitting in the sun it wasn't to bad. No one caught any fish, though.
