Dillan-Neligh Invite-Tub in today.

Dillan had a track meet at Neligh today. It was miserable. Raining and 37 degrees out. If it would have been a few degrees lower it would have been sleeting. You can see a lady in the distance with a raincoat on and hood over her head. We sat in the stands with long underwear, blankets and unbrellas. The wind was nasty too, you had to have the unbrella just right or it would turn up. We left right after Dillan ran. There was no pre-lims. Dillan placed 4th. I'll post his time when he gets home to tell me. He ran the 110 high hurdles in 17.4, which is pretty good for the day they were having.

The carpenter's were here today also. They took the old tub out of my bathroom and put the new one in. I thought maybe I could leave the old wallpaper for now cause I am tired of painting and such for a while. But, they ripped it getting the old tub out and new one in. They said they did a lot of cussing (glad I wasn't hear to witness that) We were able to use the boys' tub as they got everything fixed there. They tore the panel off and discovered it was leaking behind and put in new sheetrock and facet and had a guy in town patch the hole the last carpenter did and re-cauked everything. It doesn't look brand-new; but, a lot better than it did. Dillan wanted a different shower head in my bathroom (just like Aunt Kim's) so I ran to Norfolk early this morning to pick one up. I wanted a cream or Gold one; but, all they had was crome-so I got the rest of the faucet to match. I think it will be OK. the other one was $166 and this one with the new shower head was quite a bit cheaper-$114. I was totally shocked at how much they run. These were on sale luckily. I hope I remember to take pictures tomarrow of the re-modeling. The old tub was sitting outside by the tractor and loader today when I got home from Norfolk and they were just putting the new one in when I had to leave for the track-meet.

We got Kim and Derek's wedding invitation today. About a month and a half until the wedding. Kim's dress is still not in-they said it would be in by Saturday-she is getting a little anxious.
