Tonight was the end of the season wrestling potluck and awards presentation. Mr. Boyer is a very good coach and talkes about each young man individually on what their strengths are and how they were an asset to the team. He always tells them they are winners. Darin and Dillan also loved him as a math teacher. He really wanted you to learn and made it possible for you to succeed. Mr. Boyer has been a great asset to Plainview since he came 12 years ago, his wife is so wonderful. She makes signs everyweek to put on their lockers to encourage them and organizes treats and puts them in their lockers with great inspirational sayings every week. A couple of years ago she got coache's wife of the year. Tonight the seniors presented her with a necklace and bracelet. She said it was showing her husband up.

Mr. Boyer shaved his head cause right before state wrestling he dyed it blond, all the wrestlers dyed there's black. I guess they agreed they would do this before state. So, I guess he thought he liked his black hair better, and not to damage it anymore he shaved it off, there still is a tinge of blonde in it.
