Darin decided to paint his basement before his 20th birthday. He hired his friend Craig's grandpa to help him with repairing the walls and painting. When I showed up to help, Carissa Dennis was already there helping. I had plenty to do Monday and said that maybe I wouldn't show up;but, Darin said, "Mom, you know you want to come help", well, I don't get to see Darin very often and spend quality time with him so I went, now I can say I helped. He's painting some walls red and some a sand color. It really changed the look of his basement and made it more inviting. I'll post after-pictures when I get over there next. His birthday is March 27th and he should have everything done by then.
