I made Darin a marble cake with Chocolate frosting. He said it was great. I had to leave early to go to Dillan's concert.

Alden always has to make wonderful facial expressions. Thanks Alden for not dissapointing me! Dillan had already left for the concert by now and Alex wouldn't let me take his picture in this one. Derek and Kim, Herb and Dorothy, Alex, Dillan and even my dad showed up (he said if we were having cake he'd come.)

Yeah, we were all surpised he showed up, I wasn't going to call him cause he doesn't ever come when we have stuff at night.
He was in his normal funny state. He had us all laughing and especially Herb. One of the things he asked Herb was what his e-mail address was cause we were talking about it. Herb said he didn't know but that Dorothy knew. WE knew he thought we were talking about his normal address. He finally heard us right and we all were laughing so hard. The original conversation was about a man that comes and tells stories and reads at Creighton where Kim Teaches. HE tells about the old days. Kim told dad he should do and tell about the old days, like when they had to put cardboard over the radiators cause there was no thermostat. Darin was joking that he remembers that.
Our food took forever cause their was another birthday party going on there and they ordered before we did. Can you imagine the likely hood of that happening on a Tues night in Foster?
