Crystal Cathedral-Garden Grove California-March 2007

These are some pictures we took of the Crystal Cathedral and the grounds. It sits on 40 acres about 10 blocks from where we were staying next to the convention center and Disney Land. It was absolutely gorgeous that day. Dr. Schueller (well there is 3 of them, the grandpa, son and grandson) all preach on the grounds. The younger one preaches in the old church on the grounds and the older gentleman that was our guide said it was really different (I'm wondering if it is kind of like what I'm used to) Anyway they are affilated with Church of God. Most of our friends went there on Sunday;but, we chose to go an hour away to a church that is like what I'm used to. It was so awesome, I am so glad we spent the extra time and effort to go. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of that church. It's Dr. Ed and Pastor Nancy Dufresne's church in Murrieta. Ed was gone flying to Nebraska to preach at our church on Tues so we didn't get to see him, but, his wife is the pastor and she had an awesome message about using our prayer language and walking by faith.
