Having Fun in Lincoln

Sunday, we went to Lincoln. Alden had a room at the Cornhusker because he had school board meetings on Monday. He took the kids' swimming in the hotels' pool where they had a blast. At one point Christian said he drank a lot of water and got really scared. I guess he was out in the deap and Alden was watching Jasmine and another girl and thought Christian was just playing. Well, he learned not to go out in the deep unless Alden was watching him. After supper I told him to drink some water he said he drank enough at the pool. Thank the Lord that nothing serious happened.




We went and had supper with mom and the kids' wanted to stay overnight so Alden and I stayed at the hotel overnight. Thanks mom for giving us a break away from the kids'. They love you and love spending time with you. Mom fell 3 weeks ago on some black ice by her appartment and had surgery almost 2 weeks ago, she showed us her staples-she has been having physical therapy come to her apartment and the pt is very pleased with her progress. She has an appt. this Wed to get the spaples removed. She also has several screws and plates to repair her sever fractured elbow. She can not lift anything yet; but, we are confident in complete restoration of her elbow.
