The Orphanage and their Mother and Grandmother

We went to the Orphanage on Sat to see the kids, hand out gifts, see Moma Robert (she no longer works there) and J and C mother and grandmother. It was a very good meeting and Ally and Jamie took us there and Ally stayed and interperted for us. Ginette (the mother) braided Jasmine's hair and taught me how to corn row, my row didn't look have as good as hers. It was hot as usual, but, some of their friends were still there (Jimmy and Peter and Peterson) Jimmy has been there way to long. Christian was so excited to go and wrestle Jimmy and see if he could beat him since he took wrestling lessons before his brain surgery, they did get to wrestly he told me and beat him and Jimmy was amazed, then Christian said he showed him some "moves". Of course I saw none of this. Christian also helped them speeze Limes for juice and wanted some. Jasmine helped feed the toddlers soup with potatoes, Alden played with the kids and I basically was in charge of taking pictures and video's. Jamie and Ally were moving into their new house and said we couldn't come as the landlordes were due to come and if we showed up they would expect more money since we were white. Can you imagaine the rent in PAP-$2500 to $3500 a month and they have to give a whole years in advance, that is over $25,000 up front. These girls raise their own money to support over 22 kids and nannies for a total of 44 people in the house. They came 3 years ago not knowing any Kreyol and learned the language and saw a need and filled it. They are 29 and 21 years old. Alden and I have decided to support them every month, this is truly a mercy of love on their part as I don't think they take a salary for this.
