Jasmine got extensions

Before I brought the kids' home I read on several adoptions groups that Black people are very concerned how there hair looks and that I as a white mother of black children I will be critized if I am not keeping their hair nice-that is why they created a group just to discuss hair. Well, when Jasmine came home her mother from Haiti had put extensions in her hair before she left and Jasmine wanted them out and to just leave her hair and put a band in it-well it was easy enough. Well, it happened. I had called Darin and told him I was coming to Norfolk, he told me to bring Jasmine as some of his black friends had said that Jasmine looked like a homeless girl. So, I took her down and one of the girls spent 4 hours putting extensions in her hair. She came home and Christian said she was beautiful. Mrs. Masat told me today that her son came home and said that Jasmine looked like a movie star-the extensions should last a couple of months if I take care of them. I took this picture last Sunday before they went to church.Jasmine really loves her hair, she would twirl it around and flip her head up and down. Her hair almost goes to her rear.
